P3- The street lamp in the center of this picture is located in Zer Zamini intersection, right across from Baihaqi Book Store. If lamp post could talk, it would tell us countless stories about the barbaric rule of the Taliban period. During their era, the Taliban used this street lamp for hanging the chopped limbs of Afghans who were supposedly caught stealing or committing other crimes. The Taliban would leave the human limbs for display there in order to teach the rest of the citizens a lesson. I think the lamp post should be taken down and stored in a museum as part of our history.
