Afghan Women, then, now and in the future

Women in Afghan society today make more than half of the population. Women have been suffering in a male dominated society before, suffered further because of war which is a cruel phase in the lives of human beings changing them into savages, and suffered even more in the hands of the fanatics who read religious tenets differently and against the course of human history. Are they any better now?

What will happen to them and their cause in the future?

What are some of the methods by which their rights could be safeguarded and their status elevated?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a lawyer working on a war crimes (and crimes against humanity case) in relation to an official in the Rabbani government.

Can you please reply to my email if you're able to assist with some evidence?

Thank you

Women were considered as properties in the past. They were sold, as still might be continuing in some parts, and they were treated as slaves or sorry to, tell as animals. Now the situation is getting better. They can speak, they can protest, they can work outside and they can have more access to health, education, business and any other rights. In the future I think the women can take more part in the social and political activities. I wish our women don't become implementer of the foreigners. Though they can use their experiences and knowledge. I wish a bright future for all our mothers and sisters.
